Atterrato la sera del 15 giugno all’Aeroporto di Lamezia ci racconta subito che è reduce da mille impegni  didattici e artistici: ma la prima cosa che si nota è questo viso gioioso, illuminato dalla bellezza di essere appassionato al lavoro che fa.

E la conferma giunge appena apre bocca..<< l’insegnamento, per me è importantissimo, è fondamentale offrire ai ragazzi la conoscenza dei metodi tecnici per affrontare lo studio del sassofono e poi tutto ciò che ne consegue, attività artistica, didattica, insomma passione per lo strumento>>. Senza quella non si andrebbe da nessuna parte, ce lo conferma il Maestro Luigi Grisolia, il docente del Conservatorio “Stanislao Giacomantonio” di Cosenza, che ha organizzato la Masterclass nei giorni 16 e 17 giugno scorsi, accollandosi l’onore di una presenza che ha dato lustro alla città di Cosenza e al suo Conservatorio. << D’altronde, ha precisato il Maestro Francesco Salime docente di sassofono al Conservatorio “San Pietro a Majella” di Napoli, il Maestro è il degnissimo erede, a Parigi, della cattedra che fu di Adolphe Sax, l’inventore del sassofono>>.

Il tutto ha trovato ampio riscontro anche nella partecipazione di allievi provenienti da diversi Conservatori, ma, ciò che ha colpito di più, di allievi anche più grandi, intervenuti per apprendere, ascoltare, seguire, una lezione di sassofono che non era semplicemente tale, ma è divenuta, grazie alle doti di grande comunicatore e didatta del Maestro, una lezione di vita. Tanti gli ambiti toccati da Claude Delangle, già perché parlare di sassofono implica una serie di riferimenti fatti all’anatomia dell’apparato respiratorio, ma anche dell’apparato muscolo scheletrico, delle tecniche di fonazione, della postura, dell’approccio con lo strumento, dell’approccio con il pubblico, dell’approccio con gli interpreti e compositori di oggi e del passato, del significato profondo che possiede in ambito sociale l’arte dei suoni, della “globalizzazione” che essa ha attuato da sempre, ancor prima che la società capisse cosa fosse, e tanto altro ancora.
